Hey guys, remember when I said my favorite Dr. Pimple Popper videos were of blackheads? Well, I lied (kind of)—they’re of dilated pores of Winer (DPOW), and if you’ve never seen one, I need you to prepare yourself.
In her latest Instagram video, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, shows herself going to work on a DPOW. “Bringing back our friend, the Dilated Pore of Winer, with special guest, Li’l Splash,” she wrote—which should tell you you’re in for something special.
In the first few seconds of the video, while Dr. Pimple Popper is pressing on the DPOW, it begins to come out—but then suddenly squirts a clear liquid, right at the doctor. “Oooh!” Dr. Pimple Popper exclaimed right when it squirted—and subsequently landed on her scrubs. “You’re her last one, thank goodness,” one of the nurses said.

Just FYI: A dilated pore of Winer is essentially an extremely large blackhead, according to Dr. Pimple Popper’s website. “Dead skin cells get trapped and help widen this pore, and plugs up the opening,” it says, adding that “the expression of this plug squeezes out the macerated, white, soggy keratin/skin cells from the deeper portion of the pore.” Sounds delicious, right?
On her website, Dr. Pimple Popper also notes that once expelled, it’s common for these holes in the skin to fill up again with keratin and skin cells. Luckily, they’re completely benign, though.
Almost immediately after the DPOW squirts its clear liquid, it also starts bleeding—which Dr. Pimple Popper cleans up with some gauze. But, after all of that, the uh, plug, comes out cleanly and the video ends.
Now, tell me that wasn’t the most satisfying thing you’ve ever seen.
